On the reverse with the stamp of the Museum Folkwang Essen in violet [crossed out in pencil ] and with the stamp in blue of Galerie Ferdinand Möller and inscribed with pen and black India ink: Erworben lt. Vertrag 1940.

Condition report: Harmonious overall appearance. At the lower edge in the centre a short tear (1,7 cm), otherwise no losses. The paper mainly in the margins slightly creased and with small creases. The sheet unevenly time stained. Isolated minuscule brown small stain as well as minor pinpoint foxing. The paper slightly dusty and in the margins with isolated finger stains. On the reverse the paper slightly soiled. In the sheet corners, as well as at the lower edge in the centre each several remains old mount; partially with brown remains of glue.
